That One Direction Blog

I sent this message to the moderator of No Erection a couple of days ago, and this was her response.
So, it’s wrong for the submitters on No Erection to get hate, but it’s perfectly fine for them to spew it?
I’m sorry Alice, because you seem like a really nice person, but that logic doesn’t quite compute for me. And, looking back and rereading my original message, I understand how it could be interpreted as hate. That wasn’t my intention, hypocrisy isn’t my thing, but I still stand by what I said as I wasn’t victimizing anyone, singling anyone out or doing anything that was unwarranted, I was only sharing my opinion. Isn’t that what No Erection is all about?
It’s absolutely disgusting, some of the things that people say on your blog (that goes both ways, as I’ve noticed quite a few “Directioners” sending you death threats as well.)
Some of the submissions are just plain stupid:
“It was really fucking low of him to put on those fake tears, I hope he dies soon.” Alright, so you suspect that the tears were fake, and you dislike Harry for lying, as it is “low”, but it’s perfectly morally/socially/ethically acceptable to wish death upon a person whom you have never met. You should win an award for understanding the concept of logic.
“I might spit in his face when I see him again, how dare he fake cry.” I’m pretty sure that’s considered assault.
“What kind of low life fuck would fake tears like that? Harry you stupid fuck.” What kind of low life fuck victimizes others on the internet?
“If he fake cries like that again, I swear I’m leaving this fandom.” Okay. Buh-bye. You will be dearly missed.
“You’d think us loving him would weigh up to those hating him, but apparently, we don’t matter enough to him.” Um, no. What he meant was that when a fan likes him, compliments him, he doesn’t question it because it’s logical that a fan would think highly of him, whereas when someone says something negative about him, something that isn’t constructive criticism, it hurts because he doesn’t understand why someone who he has never met or done wrong by would dislike him. Maybe he’d value your opinion more if you took the time to form a proper one based on valid inferences.
And Alice, you claim that you’re a fan of  Demi Lovato, a celebrity who has made her stance on bullying very clear: She’s against it, even having once tweeted that hating on people online - even if said persons are celebrities - is bullying.
Why would you condone it then?
I think that’s what your submitters need to realize: What they are doing is bullying, and regardless of how rich or famous, talented or talentless, attractive or unattractive the members of One Direction may be, they’re people with feelings. If given the opportunity to meet One Direction, I would bet that none of the submitters would share these particular opinions with the boys. And if they would, well, I hope that they never get the chance… karma is some crazy shit, bro. I wouldn’t want any of y’all to hurt yourselves.
And really, even if Harry was faking those tears, instead of hating on him, shouldn’t we be starting a petition to get him nominated for an Emmy? I mean, if he wasn’t being sincere, the boy was displaying some major acting talent. Don’t hate, appreciate.

This woman that stood up for One Direction needs an award for being kick-ass. Just sayin’
